Progress

Lately I’ve noticed that the food the kitchen gives me is not ground but bite sized pieces. Today I had chicken which was torn in fragments with sauce. I ate it with mashed potato and spinach. I’m glad to say I ate them well.

Another Life

I’ve been thinking about life out of this facility after I’ve recovered from my tube feed. I’m hoping that living in an independent care facility will be a better experience for me and my Dad. Tube Feed

I’m on tube feed. A tube connects me to a pump that feeds my stomach with liquid food that’s is nutrient rich. I have been on tube feeding for over two months now. I’m now eating more easy to chew foods having graduated from puréed foods. I’m still trying out foods that are chewy. IContinue reading “Tube Feed”
