Why Travel?
It’s a cool morning in my city today. The air is chilly. I received pictures from a friend who went to Mexico for the holidays. The pictures look colorful and depicted the way of life in several cities in Mexico. I call my friend brave for traveling to Mexico. For one thing, the border isContinue reading “Why Travel?”
My Pal Joey
As I watched my dog Joey settle down to crouch next to my feet, I felt an onrush of gratefulness for my pet. Joey’s a challenge to me. He can be sad after my cats, or he can ignore them (much preferable) and go for the dishtowels on the island in the kitchen. He’s aContinue reading “My Pal Joey”

Christmas This Year
I awoke early today and peered out of the window and saw the light of day. No snow came to visit our city. It promises to be a mild weather day for our citizens. I’ve been suffering a thorn on my side and invoking St Paul who had the same problem. I am sacrificing thisContinue reading “Christmas This Year”
