Halo

I recently downloaded Halo onto my cell phone. It’s a Catholic app. You can pray the Rosary with it. It has many items that you can listen to or think about. There you can pray the Gospels, and you can listen to a priest or a sister discussing the lesson of the day or whatever strikes their choosing. I’ve only had Halo on my phone for a couple of days so there are still things that I don’t know or have to discover. Basically, you create your own routine. My routine is: Praying the Rosary, Listening to the Day’s Gospel and readings, Listen to Someone discussing a pertinent topic, Quiet Time (for when you want to have a peaceful and calm thought to go to bed with). I just prayed the Rosary for the day with my cell in my hand, and my puppy on my lap snoozing. I don’t dare pray the physical rosary beads because my puppy will want to eat it.

All in all, I think this will help me withstand the day’s sacrifices. At this time, my problems are financial problems. It’s almost the end of the month and my Dad and I are both broke. At least with Halo, my mind is occupied with holy things and special thoughts about God and His Mother, Mary. I foresee it occupying my mind for the foreseeable future and relieve my mind of its distractions. I think with the routine that I am on daily, I can work time in to write my next book. Even if I don’t finish writing my book, I’m convinced Halo will help me pray for guidance and direction from The Holy Spirit.
