I had a dream today that I was taking my stepmother out for a drive to the grocery store. She reminded me that she had a driver’s licence and asked me if she could drive. I said ok but in the dream I was still in the driver’s seat. But then the car went to the other lane in the driveway of our apartment complex and I told my stepmother to step on the brakes. For some reason I couldn’t step on the brakes either so I shifted the car into park and swerved into the kerb. There was a motorist that was passing by and I was thankful that the car stopped where it did.

In reality my stepmother never got a drivers’ licence. And she’s been dead for over 10 years now.
