One of the people I asked to read and review my book LR finally gave her review. She had a difficult time reading it and she thought that the plot was somewhat confused and said she had to read it over again and made notes of the characters to see how the book would go in her own thoughts. I really appreciate her candidness and I think it would be sad if she read more of my books because she might become unhappy.

There is another reader who said she’d read my book but she hasn’t posted anything.

I’m resigned to the fact that my LR book will have this same complaint from readers of it. I do not know what to do. I could unpublish it but there is another publisher who publishes it. I’ve spent money on it and so I don’t want to waste this money that I’ve spent on it. The money came from my savings account the one that’s the 401(k). I hope that some people who will read LR will find its theme to be relevant to their own ideas of redemption. I wish to change the book’s introduction perhaps in order to make it clearer that it’s about redemption but I’m guessing the readers don’t look too much at the introduction on Amazon. It’s a book that has been reviewed by professional reviewers and so the readers know that this book has a few issues with the reviewers as well.

I don’t wisht o think about this LR book anymore. I do not like to think about it and hope that it won’t be read by anybody because now I’m sad about it.

I wrote this book while I was stilll taking the course for my MFA. I wrote the first chapter of it as a part of an assignment for class. The people there liked it and thought it was great. But the professor and a student didn’t care for the character and said he was a psychopath. I tried to defend the character and said that he was someone who needed redemption, someone who wasn’t a thief or who was somehow well, I’m remembering the scene where he offs the doctor who threatened his career. I do not know anymore. I do not know if I’m good as a writer but I am going to keep trying. One day I’ll write a good story and it will make the readers pleased.

I think somehow the readers who pick up this book, either due to a giveaway or as a real purchase find it difficult to follow the way it goes. I am hoping this will change. I think if the readers watched a movie, the book would resemble it, at least I think so. So I wodner if the readers are really uneducated and only read books that are simply written. People who haven’t finished high school, or aren’t educated in literature.
