Mary holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Indiana University, and a Master’s in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University. She worked in cancer research and later in regulatory device affairs. She has published books (see My books page) and is passionate about helping others develop their craft in their writing. Mary decided to leave regulatory affairs to concentrate on her creative writing in 2017.
Mary’s book range in topics from non-fiction to fiction. He first book is Life Lessons: Ruminations on Life as a Human on Earth. Her second book is The Loveable Resident, a story about a medical resident living the good life and suddenly is in danger of losing his ambition.
Originally from Manila, she lives with her family in West Lafayette, Indiana.
